In the blog this week I would like to discuss something that has been a long time coming. An idea that I have been anticipating and waiting for since before I even started this business. This is something that elicits feelings of sheer joy as well as immense fear. The topic I would like to discuss today is employees and hiring. To cut right to the point, WE ARE HIRING! That felt good to say (write), and it’s true, we are hiring home cleaning techs. Beyond the obvious statement above, I would like to detail a little bit more about Park West and why you should help us find our next class of home cleaning techs.
Over the course of the past seven months, the entire operation here at Park West Cleaning has been just me. Booking all clients, folding all towels, cleaning all homes and apartments. I have learned so much in the past seven months, and will continue to do so, but am happy to finally have a coworker again. Now, who that coworker is, I have no clue, and I couldn’t be more excited for the uncertainty.
At Park West over the past 7 months, there has been so much to learn. I know house cleaning may sound simple but the reality is, it is not. There is so much more that goes into making sure that the client receives everything they pay for and more. From making sure the booking tool is easy to use, the website is clear and concise, the supplies are ready for the next day, the towels are folded, and on and on. Long story short, the two hours I spend cleaning an apartment is just a slice of what goes into the operation. For the better part of the year, I have been doing it alone, happily might I add.
There have been so many of my own “Aha Moments” along the way. Many of them involve gratifying cleans for my customers, but many more understanding and unlocking some keys to customer success. I am excited to share that with employee number 1 first and foremost. Sharing the secret sauce to Park West’s success and starting to scale this business. Growing outside of a one man operation has always been the goal, and to start to realize progress in goals is always extremely gratifying.
Let’s cut to the chase. Below is a job description of what I am looking for regarding Park West’s first cleaning tech!
